A note from ASTALI…
Natural, handmade, and re-purposed materials are the core of ASTALI designs. Each finished piece is unique and will vary slightly from the next. The natural variations in the components of the jewelry are not defects. Each item is carefully inspected prior to shipping. We strive to represent the colors and materials of our products as accurately as possible. However, every monitor displays color differently so we cannot guarantee that items are the exact color you see on your screen.

Store Policies & FAQs

  • Yes! We do both domestic and international wholesale. Get in touch and make sure to include the name of your store.

  • All ASTALI jewelry is made-to-order by hand. Most items ship within 1-5 business days, often within 2 days of purchase. You will receive a confirmation email from us when your order ships, as well as tracking info from Stamps.com. You will be notified if your order is delayed for any reason.

    Overnight orders ship out the following day after the order is received.  In some cases an Overnight order may ship the same day of purchase if the order is received by 2pm. Please contact us if you have any questions about the expected arrival time of a specific order.

  • All items are shipped and insured via USPS.  First Class shipping for all U.S. orders is currently free.  Flat rate for International Priority is $35, except for Canada which is a $24 flat rate for Priority shipping.  Overnight shipping is $24 and will go out the following business day for orders placed after 2pm. Please contact us if you have any questions about the expected arrival time of a specific order.

  • We want you to love your purchase and we stand by our products.  If needed, items can be returned for exchange. Please contact us prior to sending something back to receive Return Authorization. Customer is responsible for shipping charges on returned items. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged en route to us.  We will ship replacement items back to customer immediately, and at our cost.

  • Most ASTALI jewelry has a naturally aged appearance and does not require special effort to maintain this look. If desired, you may use a soft polishing cloth to gently wipe your jewelry. Do not dip any ASTALI pieces into liquid jewelry cleaners! The harsh chemicals in these cleaners will cause irreversible damage to natural materials such as leather, feathers, and vertebrae. We also recommend removing all jewelry before taking a swim or showering.

  • Longer or shorter sizes may be available by special request. Just drop us a line using the form on this page and include the details of what you would like done.

  • Our snake vertebrae beads originate in rural Africa. Snakes are consumed as food and their vertebrae are then used in divination rituals. It is believed the vertebrae represent the bones of their ancestors. They are NOT harvested merely for fashion. We strive to respect their origin by breathing new life into something that might otherwise be discarded or forgotten.

  • All of our bullet casings are gathered from shooting ranges. None of them were used to hunt animals, commit crimes, settle scores, etc. We’re about glamorizing recycling, not violence.
