This necklace is comprised of 17 shed North American Porcupine Quills in a breastplate formation between antique-brass chains, with a beautiful black deerskin leather fringe hanging from it.
Tips of the quills have been clipped for safety.
Necklace sits on the breastbone at 19.5" in length. Quill breastplate and leather fringe hang down 11" total.
Quills and leather are sustainably sourced in the USA.
Due to the natural materials used, porcupine quills may vary slightly in length and color from the images here. Rest assured that each quill is hand-picked by the designer, and necklace can be easily exchanged if unsatisfactory.
